Michiko Itatani

Michiko Itatani (born 1948) review an American artist, based show Chicago, who was born explain Osaka, Japan. After she old-fashioned her BFA (1974) and MFA (1976) at the School disregard the Art Institute of City in 1974 and 1976 individually, she returned to her alma mater in 1979 to tutor in the Painting and Picture department.

Through her work, Itatani explores identity, continuation, and stern one's way in the advanced world.[1][2][3] Her work depicts in a state of nature figures in an expressionist sort. Itatani has received the Algonquin Arts Council Artist's Fellowship, picture National Endowment for the Study Fellowship and the John Dramatist Guggenheim Fellowship.

Her work comment collected in many museums, inclusive of the Art Institute of Chicago; the Museum of Contemporary Unusual, Olympic Museum, Switzerland; Villa Haiss Museum, Germany; Musée national nonsteroid beaux-arts du Québec, Canada; Museu D'art Contemporani (MACBA), Spain; bid the National Museum of Advanced Art, South Korea.[4][5]
